LIGHTNING CAUSES FIRE AT PROFESSIONAL PLACEMENT BUILDING
A monsoon storm on Tuesday night in Phoenix resulted in a lightning strike, which hit the roof of the building Professional Placement occupies, along with several other businesses including the Republic Monetary Exchange and a bank. The strike caused a fire which was contained within an hour. However, some fire, smoke and water damage affected several businesses in the building. Fortunately, no one was injured.
Jeff Seifert with Professional Placement reported that he was able to access their office to obtain some files, but investigations were continuing involving property management and the fire marshal. Power and phones remained out at the building nearly 12 hours after the incident.
Until power and accessibility are restored to the building, you may still reach the Professional Placement staff at their main number: 602-955-0870, which has been forwarded to various staff cell phones. Staff are working remotely until they are able to return to the office.
